I’m not gonna lie: this is something I thought I wouldn’t have to write. Honestly speaking, I thought that Cebu Content Creators (C3, for short) would just die off in silence. This wouldn’t be a big deal if that happened. But alas, I am writing about C3.
Yes, it’s true. After years of basically being inactive, C3 will be on an indefinite hiatus. We, the members, have been doing our individual endeavors since the pandemic hit. Honestly speaking, I miss all the times we hung out and planned events for the creator community in Cebu. Unfortunately, I think our priorities are becoming significantly different that this was the only option we could do.
All the Memories…
It all started back in June of 2017 when we had our first event during Hobby Festival 2017 at Parkmall. The vibes were nice and it was a nice showcase of what content creators can do beyond just the typical blogging and vlogging at the time.
Since that time, we held different creator meetups, different kinds of seminars, and tons of collaborations between Cebu Content Creators and different organizations. We even did live videos in the form of #C3Live! Here is one of those episodes:
My favorite memory with C3 was when I just started The Creator Life podcast and I did an episode with 5 of the members who were there with me for BCBA 2018!
Thank You, C3.
Some of the best memories I have of being a creator was with C3. From all the meetups to the podcast episodes to the antics in between, I am eternally grateful. It’s gonna be hard to move forward without this team, but hoping we keep all the memories together alive in our hearts.
